Membership is open to anyone who has studied, trained or taken part in an academic or professional programme in the United Kingdom.
Who can join
Membership is open to anyone who has:
- studied at a higher education institution in the United Kingdom;
- undertaken professional training or continuing development in the United Kingdom;
- benefited from a UK scholarship or academic programme;
- taken part in an academic, research, exchange or professional development programme in the UK;
- or gained another recognised academic or professional experience in the United Kingdom.

How to apply
Write to us on WhatsApp or by email with your name, the UK institution you attended and the year. We will send you the membership form in return.

Associate members
Subject to the association’s governing documents, UKAN may provide for an associate membership category for individuals or organisations that support its objectives without meeting the alumni eligibility criteria.
Approval
Applications are reviewed and approved in accordance with the Statutes and Internal Regulations. Once approved, the new member is formally welcomed into the network.
